Bonnie Schneider works as a journalist for CNN. The TV show she hosts The Last House Remaining on DIY NETWORK began airing on March 30 2012. In addition, she is an on-camera meteorologist as well as co-executive director. The first novel she wrote was EXTREME weather, which was published by Palgrave Macmillan January 31 2012. Schneider also covered entertainment, lifestyle and other issues as Special Assignment Reporter three days per week while she was in Boston. Her previous position was as weather forecaster for weekends at WFOR-TV, Miami. She held various reports and meteorology roles in News 12 Long Island - an all-day news cable channel as well as WXII-TV, the NBC affiliate station in Winston-Salem. Also, she was a frequent replacement on The Saturday Early Show on CBS's New York City network.
